Had an incredible stay. The first night, after a long hike, we were welcomed with tea and homemade cake, it's those little touches that matter, right? the food was top-notch, we dined every night because it was just that good, especially the steak & ale pie.

We had a fantastic time exploring the nearby cliffs before heading to the Hungry Explorer for a delicious meal. The breathtaking scenery made our hikes so enjoyable, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, catering to our large family with ease.

My kids wished there were more entertainment options for teenagers.

The Deluxe Double or Twin Room with Ocean View was pretty comfy. The bed was nice and soft, making it easy to fall asleep after a long day. We had a great view of the ocean too, which was a big plus. A little dated in some spots, but overall clean and spacious. I wish there had been a desk and chair to work on, though. The bathroom could definitely use some more shelf space too. No major complaints, really, just a few tweaks could make it even better!

We had an amazing time enjoying fresh, delicious meals, especially the mussels that Andrea brought in after we talked about them! The garden area is blissful, perfect for relaxing with a good book or taking in ocean views. Just a heads-up, some parts of the room could use a little more finishing touch, but it didn’t ruin our stay at all. 😊

i had a delightful stay at magnus bay. the location is lovely, perfect for exploring. my single room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful sea view. dinner was some of the best food i’ve had on this trip, and breakfast was equally delicious. the staff were friendly and offered great recommendations for walks nearby.
